If your car break down along the North South Highway, you can call Toll PLUS expressway operator at 1800 88 0000. Toll PLUS will dispatch their patrol personnel (also known as PLUSRonda personnel) to your assistance.
It will be helpful for you to provide accurately your current location for them to help you. If you have a phone with internet connection, you can use Google Maps app to check your location. If you do not have a phone, you can use the emergency telephones which are provided at every 2 kilometres along the PLUS expressways. Just be sure to tell Toll PLUS which direction of the expressway you are in. Also do note sometimes the emergency phone may not work. We know this may not be a good news to you, but we are trying to be honest so you will not have surprises.

If you are using a Malaysia mobile line or fixed line, please call 1300 226 226 to Automobile Association of Malayisa (AAM).
If you are using a Singapore mobile line, please call +60 7 226 7527 or +60 7 222 6527 (24-hour).
AAM may either dispatch a recovery crew or provide members with the contact number for the nearest AAM branch office. For AA members driving a Singapore-registered car, Roadside Assistance Service (RAS) will be rendered to you free-of-charge if the breakdown is within the free breakdown zone. The free breakdown zones are mainly near towns which include Klang Valley, Penang, Johor Bahru, Ipoh, Seremban, Malacca, Kuantan, Kuala Terengganu, Alor Setar, Kuching and Kota Bharu. However, for destinations like Malacca, Kuantan, Kuala Terengganu, Alor Setar, Kuching and Kota Bharu, RAS is chargeable after midnight.
